Therapeutic approaches

Child and Adolescent Therapy

Through conversation, play, and drawing, I help children and adolescents better understand and express their emotions, build confidence, and find healthy ways to cope with challenges.

Support may be helpful if your child shows sudden or lasting changes in behavior (aggression, sadness, withdrawal, sleep or eating difficulties), struggles with fears or learning, or is facing a difficult situation such as bereavement, divorce, or bullying.

Together with you and your child, we create a care plan after a few initial sessions to ensure the support is tailored to their needs.

Individual therapy

I provide support for people going through painful or difficult times. Therapy is based on a trusting relationship, which is essential for progress and healing.

With a systemic approach, I also take into account the person's family and social relationships, as they often play an important role in their well-being. When relevant and with the client's consent, relatives or significant members of their entourage may be invited to participate in certain sessions. These interventions aim to alleviate psychological suffering, in particular by improving important relationships within the family and social circle when possible, or the internal representations of these relationships when the people concerned are absent or inaccessible.

Systemic Family Therapy

Family therapy helps when difficulties affect family life and relationships. It looks at how each person’s behavior is linked to the family as a whole and the situations they are going through.

It can be useful in times of conflicts, school or behavioral problems, depression, health complaints, or during life changes such as birth, separation, retirement, or bereavement. Together, we work to strengthen communication, understanding, and balance within the family.

Workshop: Attention works!

Mindfulness for Children and Adolescents

Eline Snel Method – 8 to 10 weeks, small groups of 4–8 participants

These workshops help children and adolescents develop attention and inner resources such as concentration, patience, kindness, tolerance, and empathy. By learning to observe both their inner world and the world around them, they become better equipped to navigate life’s ups and downs with balance and resilience.

Groups are organized by age: 8–10, 11–13, 14–15, and 16–18 years.

Video therapy

A slightly new way of receiving therapy that is basically suitable for everyone. Video therapy is also a very good supplement to in-person sessions, and can be used individually or for slightly longer periods when you are prevented from coming to a session due to illness, or if you are traveling for a long time.
